Biography

Ellen was born and raised in Zimbabwe. She graduated in 2005 with a Degree in Education in Malawi and as part of her teaching internship, she taught in a primary school in Malawi and a high school in Zimbabwe.

Ellen moved to the United Kingdom after completing her studies and eventually joined the British Army, serving in the Royal Artillery and Adjutant General’s Corps until 2013. As a soldier, Ellen endured many musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries which helped develop her passion for chiropractic care. As a result, she attained her degree in chiropractic at AECC University College, graduating in 2022.

Having a teaching background and a keen interest in musculoskeletal health, Ellen found the Graduate Teaching Assistant role will allow her to continue developing her teaching and clinical skills within an educational setting.
