AECC Supports Local Community with Boscombe Soup

On Thursday 27th February from 6.30pm, we will be opening our doors in the evening to the local community and hosting the Boscombe Soup. This is a fantastic local initiative, where members of the community meet to hear 4 pitches for community projects, eat, and vote (using their empty soup bowls!). At the end of the evening, votes are counted and the winning pitch receives all money raised from the evening to carry out their community project. For more details please see www.bhsoup.com or book your place over on Eventbrite here if you want to get involved.

Lisa Bates, Access and Participation Manager at AECC University College, commented: “Here at AECC, we are firmly rooted in the local community, and we love to get involved wherever can. Hosting the Boscombe Soup is a fantastic initiative, and we look forward to opening our doors to the local community and supporting this worthwhile event.”

This live community crowd funding event will be held in the main campus building on Parkwood Road:  How to find us
