School Competitions

Get involved with our school competitions, put together to encourage science-based learning at home. The closing date for the below challenges is the 20th June 2021. You can submit as a school year group or individually as parents. We can't wait to see your entries! Download the competitions below for terms and conditions and submission details.

Sport Star Science Challenge

Do you have a sport star that you look up to? Do you know what they need to do to improve their sport performance? Use your research skills to explore this subject further. Open to all school years. Download and print competition.

Health Careers Challenge

To take part, choose a healthcare career to research and tell us what a day in the life of that health professional might look like. Open to all years but most suitable for junior and secondary school children. Download and print competition.

How Things Grow Competition

How do plants grow? What do they need to grow and stay healthy? How is this different to what we need as humans to grow and be healthy? This challenge is suitable for students in Key Stage 1 and 2. We can't wait to see your experiments!
