Each year we run a series on campus, non-residential summer school events, to support Year 11, Year 12 and Year 13 students with access to higher education.

Each year we run a series of on campus, non-residential summer school events, to support Year 11, Year 12 and Year 13 students with access to higher education.

If you would like to attend, please complete the form below and select the event(s) you are interested in. Attendees will be posted a resource pack with joining instructions the week before the summer school.

We will also upload resources for each of the events at the end of each day at the bottom of this page.

The programmes from last year's summer schools can be found below, to give you an idea of what each summer school entails. This year's summer school programmes will be uploaded closer to the time of the events.

Introduction to Health Sciences

Join us to explore career pathways in manual therapies (chiropractic and physiotherapy), psychology, sports, exercise and rehabilitation science and/or medical imaging (diagnostic imaging and therapeutic radiography). This summer school will be between 4th and 6th July 2023. Open to Year 11, 12 and 13 students.

Join us to explore what chiropractors do, the science of chiropractic and career pathways. Open to Year 11, 12 and 13 students.

Experience Research Week

Join us to discover and learn more about research by conducting a research project in a week with this summer school. This summer school is free of charge, including all resources and refreshments, and may be particularly helpful to those studying (or about to study) a social science or EPQ. Open to Year 11, 12 and Year 13 students.
