Qualifications required to meet the minimum standards of English
To be accepted onto a course at AECC University College, you will need to meet minimum standards in English.
If English is not your first language, you will have to provide evidence that you have been assessed in all four components of English (reading, writing, speaking and listening) to the required standard for your degree course. Accepted qualifications are listed below.

For all of our postgraduate courses, along with meeting the minimum standards of English (detailed below), if English isn’t your first language along with demonstrating the minimum standards of English, we require:
An undergraduate or postgraduate degree from a UK university or a completed undergraduate or postgraduate degree which has been taught in a ‘majority English-speaking’ country.
These are: Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, New Zealand, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, United States of America and British Overseas Territories
Acceptable scores from these tests are valid for 2 years and will need to be taken within 2 years prior to the start of the course. Any other English Language test not listed below will not be accepted. If applicants have any questions about these qualifications, please complete the form below.

All of the below country specific qualifications are accepted for entry to all courses where an overall IELTS score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each component is required. On Wednesday 24th April, we held our first AECC University College ‘Staff vs. Students Sports Day’! It took place on Boscombe Beach, and what a great afternoon it was! Staff and students took part in sporting games, including tug of war, sprinting, the three-legged race, and dodgeball.
On Friday 12th April, the AECC University College was delighted to host the 42nd annual Physiotherapy Research Society (PRS) Conference at the Parkwood Campus in Bournemouth.
