Throughout the course there are clinically relevant scenarios with detailed information as to what to do in each type of emergency. You will be provided with a first aid manual/workbook specifically tailored to match the content of the course.

Additional topics include how to recognise and manage: spinal injuries, diabetic emergencies, angina, DVTs, stroke (VBAI emergencies), how to deal with a patient who has fainted, manage a patient who has collapsed on a therapeutic table/bench, anaphylaxis (severe allergic reactions), asthma emergencies and recognition and management of a collapsed lung (important for those offering dry needling/acupuncture).
