Built on our successful reputation and experience in scientific and evidence-based approaches to practice, all of our psychology courses follow the requirements and standards of the British Psychological Society (BPS) which means when you graduate you will be work-ready.
You will be taught a core curriculum that covers biological psychology, cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, individual differences, social psychology, conceptual and historical issues, and research methods.
The nature of our psychology courses means that employment opportunities are incredibly diverse, all of which provide basis to continue your training to become a practising psychologist, or if you choose not to continue training you can still progress into a broad range of professions. There is also the opportunity for students who graduate from the BSc (Hons) Psychology and Counselling course to gain employment in a range of people-focused occupations.
