AECC University College celebrates new £4.5 million investment in new clinical rehabilitation centre and specialist equipment

Staff and students celebrated a Topping Out Ceremony recently as our new rehabilitation centre building structure was completed. This is a £4.5m investment in facilities, works and specialist healthcare equipment – which will form an important part of the University College’s clinical service offering to the community.

AECC University College one of three HEIs awarded a tender to deliver training for First Contact Practitioners

More and more patients come to GPs with musculoskeletal conditions. By having more FCPs in general practice, we can reduce the workload for GPs and allow patients to see the most appropriately skilled healthcare professional as their first point of contact. We were recently awarded a contract by Health Education England to be one of only three providers of training for the First Contact Practitioner (Musculoskeletal) workforce in England.
