Key dates for your student diary 2017/18

Fresher’s Week: 11-15 September 2017

A whole week dedicated to getting you involved and integrated into AECC University College life. From meeting your tutors to joining clubs and societies, this week will also give you your first taste of the Bournemouth nightlife! 

Guardian Night:  6 October 2017*

A well-loved AECC University College tradition, fresher's sign up and are then hosted by a house of other AECC University College students for dinner. All groups meet up at a bar later on that night. Take along a bottle of your own choosing and get ready for one of the best nights of the year. A bit intimidated by the older students? Don’t be, this is a great chance to meet the older years, hear some fun stories, play games and have a good night out. 

Christmas Revue: 18 November 2017

Get out your favourite frock and your best smart jacket for the AECC’s University College black tie Christmas event. Held every year at O2 Academy Bournemouth, each year group present a group performance which is then rounded off by the much anticipated clinic year video. 
The night ends with everyone hitting the dance floor with plenty of Christmas spirit! 

Graduation Class of 16/17: - 24 November 2017

Graduation ceremonies are held at the Pavilion Theatre, Bournemouth and are a perfect opportunity to celebrate your achievements here at the AECC. Find out more about this year’s graduation here.

Wellness Week: 13-17 March 2018*

A whole week of events promoting the major role of sport and activity in aiding wellbeing. These events encourage students and staff to try out those activities they wouldn’t necessarily get the chance to. It’s completely free and there are plenty of opportunities for you to win amazing prizes. Last year’s event included a healthy food fair, dodgeball and belly dancing.
