Information about our partner halls of residence, Lulworth Student Company, and other halls of residence available in Bournemouth.


We know that finding somewhere you can call home is important and the Student Services Team provides advice and guidance on the options available to our students. From 2021 we are working closely with our partners at Lulworth Student Company. This hall of residence, Lulworth House, is located in central Bournemouth, just 2 miles from campus. Ideally placed on a direct bus route to AECC University College, it is also a stone's throw from restaurants, bars, shops, and of course Bournemouth's award winning sandy beaches. Lulworth Student Company are registered with the National Code of assured accommodation.

Lulworth Student Company aims to ensure all AECC University College students who use referral code AECCUC are placed on the same floor, and you will also have the chance to meet students from other universities who will be staying there too.

About Lulworth House

You are assured a warm welcome at Lulworth House. The facilities include a gym, outdoor sports zone, outdoor chill space as well as an indoor common social space, ideal for socialising and relaxing. Along with a communal TV, residents can also get competitive and challenge each other to a game of table tennis, football or basketball! Lulworth House also has an on-site café, as well as modern laundry facilities and plenty of bike rack storage. 

Lulworth House offers open plan studios or ensuite rooms (Wi-Fi enabled). All rooms have their own bathroom and ¾ size double bed (120cm x 190cm), as well as a desk, chair and storage space. Each studio flat has its own modern kitchen, with a combination microwave oven, and dining area. All of the bedrooms are ensuite, with a range of studio options:

  • Standard ensuite rooms
  • Large seaview ensuite rooms
  • A range of studios from bronze to platinum 
  • Prices start from £135.00 per week and are based on length of tenancy.

Rooms are expected to be booked up by April/May of your study year, so do make sure you reserve your room early to avoid missing out. Costs are inclusive of all bills as well as internet access.
