Alumni Recognition Award
The purpose of these awards are to recognise the excellence and outstanding achievements of our alumni who impact the world of health. We celebrate the influencers and change-makers in their fields. The award seeks to reward an individual or individuals/groups who demonstrate outstanding leadership, achievement or service in their profession, communities and countries; for those who drive to develop innovative, effective and responsible health initiatives.
Being nominated for the Alumni Recognition Award will raise the recipient’s profile not only within our AECC University College community, but also through our national and international networks. The award will provide an opportunity to extend professional profiles and share successes more widely.
Nominations are accepted from any source (self-nominations are not permitted), including fellow alumni, academic and professional services staff, and professional peers.
Nominating an AECC University College alumna or alumnus is an excellent opportunity to not only celebrate them as a professional, but also to recognise their skills, hard work, and dedication. It is a celebration of the achievements of our graduates.
A shortlist of nominees will be collated and promoted, and the winner will be announced at the AECC Summit, Saturday 15 September 2018.
The Alumni Recognition Award nominations will be judged by a panel consisting of:
3 x Academic Staff (Typically Heads of School)
2 x Professional Services Staff
Judging will take place after the nomination submissions date of Friday 31 August.
All nominations must be received by 12 noon, on Friday 31st August 2018. Incomplete or fabricated submissions will be discounted at the discretion of the judging panel. Submissions will be anonymised before judging takes place. Members of the judging panel will be independent of nominees.
