A short focused course with CASE accreditation and certificate of competency following assessment. This complete course includes full instruction in ultrasound machine controls, anatomy and dynamic examination to fully equip for the diagnosis and management of lower limb muscle injuries. The course also includes live demo scanning with hands on workshops on both models, to ensure anatomy knowledge, and acute patients.

Warren Foster is currently Head of AECC University College's School of Medical Ultrasound, a member of the Senior Management Group and program Lead for the MSc Ultrasound courses. With more than 15 years of Ultrasound experience across numerous specialities within the NHS, he is ideally placed to support your studies.
Join our brand new MSK course specifically aimed at muscle injuries. Delegates will benefit from live demos, lectures and wet lab anatomy, all targeted at muscle injuries. Practical training also provided, thanks to our partners at AFC Bournemouth.
Our aim is always to provide the highest level of ultrasound training with the skills to understand the pitfalls and benefits of ultrasound while producing competent practitioners. A team of experts in the field of acute muscle injury will guide you through the acquisition and interpretation of ultrasound injuries before exploring the value of ultrasound follow up. These keys skills will allow you to exit the course with a sound understanding of the causes, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of muscle injuries from a wide background of clinical experience. This course is aimed at radiologists, physiotherapists, sonographers, chiropractors and sports and exercise medics. To gain the most from this course you should have some previous MSK scanning experience.
