Imaging for radiographers is formed by many elements here at AECC University College. Imaging facilities on campus include our: Open Upright MRI, Ultrasound Clinic, Virtual 3D machine (Radiotherapy), Digital X-ray suite, Quantitative Fluoroscopy, Direct Radiography (DR) room and our Centre for Biomechanic Research.
Within our School of Radiology purpose-built teaching facility, Clinical Skills Suite and Virtual Ward, we will teach you the theory and train you how to use the special imaging equipment in a safe learning environment before your first placement.
Providing patients with high-quality care is a crucial part of what we do here at AECC University College.
Scanning in real-time, allows, you to interact with your patients, helping you to get clear results and a clear picture of what is happening. Using non-invasive procedures and high-frequency sound waves, you will produce images – or sonograms – to diagnose conditions, plan and assess treatments, and ultimately get patients on the road to recovery.
