MSc Advanced Professional Practice
Earn your degree while you work with our Postgraduate MSc in Advanced Professional Practice (MSc APP). Developed by us to support professional development for healthcare professionals.
Take your career to the next level
Our MSc Advanced Professional Practice has been designed with your professional development in mind. The MSc APP course is for busy practitioners, with distance-based and part-time learning to fit around your practice. The MSc is split into pathways, so you can choose your specialist area and develop your critical appraisal and research skills and promote the attitudes for continuing professional development, experiential learning and reflective practice; all within the comfort of your own setting.
Taught content is deliberately kept to a minimum, though you will still have access to our fantastic Virtual Learning Environment, specialist journals and a dedicated team of administrators and academic staff to help you every step of the way. Even if your circumstances change and you cannot commit to the full three years of study, you will get the chance to earn a qualification at multiple exit routes. If you successfully complete stage one, you’ll qualify for a PgCert (60 Level 7 credits), at stage two you’ll qualify for a PgDip (120 Level 7 credits and finally an MSc at the end of stage three (180 Level 7 credits).
The MSc APP Paediatric Musculoskeletal Health course is a specialist pathway, and gets you started on the next stage of your career.
Study duration: Part-time three years
Assessment Combines: Reflective Reports, Case Reports, Logbook/Porfolio, Dissertation or clinical audit
