Exercise Centre

Part of the AECC University College Chiropractic Clinic, the Exercise Centre provides a designated area in which patients can be assessed following a pain complaint. Although the wide range of equipment is primarily for rehabilitation, injury resistance and performance enhancement can also be delivered in the facility.

Before using the Exercise Centre patients must have a full two hour assessment in order to determine their bespoke requirements with sessions being supervised by our Interns. We also use the centre for both teaching and research.

Sports Performance Centre

The Sports Performance Centre provides a high performance facility for both elite athletes and sportspeople. With an extensive range of hi-tech equipment focussed in one setting, the centre offers detailed testing, assessment and training programme provision specific to an individual’s sport and goals for performance optimisation, injury resistance (prehab) and prevention.

The Centre has proved invaluable in both research and assessment for our partners, past and present, including the European Space Agency, Bournemouth Football Club and Red Bull Racing. Whilst the facility is a fantastic asset for our partners, we also regularly use the centre for own research initiatives and teaching.
