Student Profile – Kajsa Nordboe
Kajsa Nordboe is about to enter her Second Year of study on our MSc Chiropractic degree course. Kajsa is originally from Norway and moved to the UK to study with us.
She tells us more about how she found moving abroad to study, her ambitions for the future, and shares her advice for prospective students thinking of studying abroad:
“I was actually inspired to study Chiropractic by my own Chiropractor, back home in Norway. She studied at AECC University College herself and recommended it to me. I trusted her opinion and am so glad I did – I have been really happy with my choice.
“Moving to the UK to study was challenging and exciting at the same time. It took me some time to get used to the culture and different rules and regulations, as well as speaking in a different language.
“I have met so many people from different countries and nationalities at AECC University College and that has been a real blessing. I am forever grateful for the new friends I have made here during my years of studying.
“I couldn't recommend it more to anyone who is considering moving away to study. You get to meet great people from all around the world, as well as having the opportunity to see different parts of the world.
“I really believe that the opportunity to travel and exploring new areas is definitely something that is worth doing in life. Doing something on your own, for yourself, helps with self-growth and ambition. Moving abroad for me has been a massive game-changer and I don't regret it one bit.
“I love helping people, and working with people, and being able to help them get back on their feet whether they're suffering from an injury, chronic pain or stress etc. That’s what I would love to continue to do more of in the future. Seeing people smile and being appreciative is pure joy to me.”
