Introducing Claire Nadaf
We are pleased to announce that Claire Nadaf will soon be joining AECC University College as the new Head of Academic Enterprise and Engagement.
Claire is a nurse academic with 10+ years’ experience within the field of Knowledge Exchange, initially at London South Bank University and more recently at Bournemouth University. Claire is passionate about meaningful stakeholder engagement and developing solutions for workforce development that meet the evolving needs of the health and social care sector. She has considerable experience in business development, contract management, curriculum development and the development of apprenticeships. With a keen interest in simulation, VR and the use of technology for learning, Claire developed one of the first MOOCs in healthcare in her specialist interest area of the Deteriorating Patient (also the focus of her Doctorate). Claire has been a Registered Nurse for over twenty years, working in the UK and New Zealand in acute adult care.
In her new role, Claire will drive the identification, development and management of innovative and profitable enterprise opportunities. Her focus will be developing and nurturing stakeholder engagement, alongside the development of new partnerships and enterprising activities. Claire said in response to starting with us – “I am excited at the opportunity for AECC University College to build on its existing reputation and grow into new areas of development both locally, nationally and globally. The new rehabilitation centre offers a springboard for innovation through partnerships involving practice, research and knowledge exchange.”
We look forward to welcoming Claire on the 1st November, where she will play a key role in the AECC University College achieving its objectives.
