Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire Chiropractors Invited to Online Stakeholders’ Event

The School of Chiropractic at AECC University College would like to invite local chiropractic clinics to attend an online stakeholders’ event on Wednesday 21st April, from 7pm to 8.30pm.

Head of the School of Chiropractic, Phil Dewhurst, explains: “We are looking to engage local chiropractors in our clinical placement programme, to support and develop the education of students at AECC University College.

“If you run a local chiropractic clinic, we would like to share insight into the courses that we run here at the University College and discuss opportunities for how local chiropractic clinics could be involved in the future training of students.

“I am particularly excited to discuss our plans for including external clinical placements with chiropractors within our pre-registration framework and would like your input and opinions on these plans.

“I am also keen to discuss other areas of collaborative work with local chiropractors to support student education and assessment across our courses.

“I hope this opportunity will highlight the steps taken to support and develop chiropractic education and the profession and that you will consider helping us to deliver an outstanding educational experience to our students and your future colleagues.”

If you are able to attend, please confirm your place by email to Alex Hughes AHughes@aecc.ac.uk and we will distribute an agenda and instructions on how to join the meeting closer to the date.
