Christmas Comes Early as AECC University College Teams Up With Samsung
AECC University College’s School of Medical Ultrasound has had a rather exciting delivery this week, after teaming up with world-leading manufacturers and providers Samsung, to maintain and enhance our delivery of first-class clinical training and care.
12 state-of-the-art imaging systems arrived on campus to be housed in the School of Medical Ultrasound, where the equipment will prove advantageous to our students, patients and the wider University College, strengthening our learning environments by allowing a real-world sense of the marketplace through using the latest technology, and access to top-of-the-range facilities.
Deputy Head of School of Medical Ultrasound, Warren Foster, commented, "Working with MIS/Samsung provides the opportunity for our students to work with state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment at all levels, allowing in-depth knowledge of image production and manipulation; the key to safe practice. We are looking forward to a long association with MIS/Samsung, collaborating on education, equipment development and cutting-edge research."
AECC University College echo the excitement of working with Samsung and MIS Healthcare, who will utilise the School of Medical Ultrasound as a UK test-bed and training centre for the latest Samsung ultrasound equipment, providing further opportunities to highlight our high quality ultrasound services and courses within the industry and healthcare community.
