BACS Annual Conference 2020

AECC University College hosts British Association of Chiropractic Students (BACS) Annual Conference

AECC University College is delighted to welcome Chiropractic students from across the UK, Europe and America on campus this weekend for the British Association of Chiropractic Students (BACS) Annual Conference 2020.

Over the course of the three-day event (7th – 9th February), delegates will learn about the past, present and progressive future of the industry – a theme apt for the conference taking place in the 125th anniversary year of the chiropractic profession.

Students are invited to sit back and enjoy the event that is packed full with speakers who will be sharing their knowledge and passion for chiropractic and offering up their own thoughts and experiences in open debates and panel discussions.

Speaking about the conference, MChiro student at AECC, Saphira said: “We have over 130 students attending from across many of the major international institutions. We want this to be a fun event, so we are kick-starting with a quiz on the Friday night and there will also be a raffle with a top prize of a Don Guiro and Atlas Clinical stationary table. Speaker sessions and workshops will commence on the Saturday with the aim of guiding and inspiring students on their journey as a young chiropractor.”

Speakers are to include Victoria Wheeldon who graduated from AECC University College in 2005 and practiced in Yorkshire for nine years treating both people and horses and Steve Williams who also graduated from AECC in 1987, and is the principal and owner of St James Chiropractic Clinic in Southampton.
