Annual Chiropractic Recruitment Event Sees Great Early Engagement

Each year the University College hosts its own Speed Meet, a popular recruitment event for final year chiropractic students and external clinics who come to campus looking to recruit new graduates. The event is held in our on-site state-of-the-art chiropractic clinic

The Speed Meet, which takes place Saturday 9 March, allows the chiropractic clinics to meet with a large number of candidates, to give them a clearer picture of who they would like to see after the event to conduct a more extensive interview. There is also the opportunity to follow up with these candidates on-site after the event has ended.

This year bookings opened on Friday 4 January, and all clinic places were booked by 2pm the same day. A waiting list for interested clinics has been put in place to deal with the high demand in attending the event.

Head of School of Chiropractic, Philip Dewhurst, commented: “The Speed Meet is a fantastic opportunity for our chiropractic final year students and we're thrilled it remains a popular event for both students and recruiting clinics. Students have the chance to meet with a wide variety of chiropractic clinics from across the UK and abroad, with clinics eager to recruit some of the best chiropractic graduates in the UK. Chiropractors are in high-demand, and providing this kind of opportunity for our students is a real advantage when it comes to their career success after graduation.”

Final year chiropractic students from the University College still have time to book their spot on the Speed Meet, and should also submit a CV (including a photo headshot) to Student Services by Friday 22 February 2019.

If you are a chiropractic clinic and you have not been successful in gaining a place at the Speed Meet, we are still able to share your job vacancies with our students. Please contact or alternatively, post your job listing on our alumni Facebook page.
