Why Become An Exercise Scientist?

"I would recommend thinking about becoming an Exercise Scientist if you have an interest in exercise, health care, performance - and you're looking to make a difference. If you're an empathetic person and you're looking to make a difference in the community that you work in and improve the quality of people's lives, this career could be right for you."

Micah Atkinson is Course Leader for our BSc (Hons) Clinical Exercise and Rehabilitation Science degree here at AECC University College. In this video, he tells us more about the role of an Exercise Scientist and what makes it such a varied and exciting career.

He shares more about the kinds of areas that Exercise Scientists work in and the qualifications that you need to become one.
