Expert advice and support

While in our care, you will be supported by our Neurological Rehabilitation lead Katie Bright. Katie is a specialist neurological physiotherapist and has worked in the NHS for 15 years and in private care, working across a variety of neuro settings from intensive care to work in the community. Katie has an MSc Advanced Professional Practice in Neurological Rehabilitation. Her work focuses on evidence based rehabilitation that promotes repetition to positively influence neuroplasticity. Katie is also trained in Functional Electrical Stimulation and in the Movement Science and Bobath approaches to Neurorehabilitation.

State-of-the-art Equipment

Our Integrated Rehabilitation Centre boasts some of the best rehab equipment in the area, which you can use during your sessions. This includes a range of specialist neurological equipment such as an AlterG Antigravity Treadmill, a Biodex Balance System, GripAble devices for help with upper limb rehabilitation, plus a range of other equipment to help aid your recovery.

Bespoke rehab plans designed around you

We understand that every individual is unique and brings with them individual goals and needs. That’s why we design bespoke neurological physiotherapy rehabilitation plans around you, taking into account your lifestyle, medical history and any other factors that could impact your progress.

We can incorporate strengthening, stretching, balance, cardiovascular and task specific practise, but also more specific techniques depending on your situation.

For those with degenerative conditions we aim to maintain and improve function where possible. for those following stroke we implement intensive rehabilitation focused on influencing neuroplasticity to improve function.

Your tailored programme will be designed around you and help you reach the best possible levels of physical, cognitive and neurological functioning.
