Clinician Led Pilates

Our Mat Pilates classes and 1-2-1s are led by highly experienced clinicians, qualified in physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation. Designed to help participants recover from injuries, improve strength and flexibility, and reduce the risk of future injuries. Suitable for people of all fitness levels and abilities, participants will be guided through a series of exercises that are specifically designed to meet their needs.

How does Clinician Led Pilates differ from other Pilates?

Clinician Led Pilates combines the principles of traditional Pilates with the latest scientific research and evidence-based approaches to musculoskeletal therapy.

Our Mat Pilates is led by highly qualified physiotherapists and sports rehabilitators to specifically target and improve posture, improve core stability and trunk control, and help to reduce muscular pain and improve functional ability.

Clinician Led Pilates is typically more tailored to the individual’s needs during the classes. Classes may involve stretching, core strength, and posture work, which is all designed to improve alignment, posture, muscle control, strength and flexibility.

Suited to all levels of fitness

Clinician Led Pilates is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels, from beginners to those with more advanced fitness levels. It is ideal for those wishing to improve their overall health and wellbeing, as well as for rehabilitation from injuries or other health issues

Each class can cater for any level of fitness, from those who are completely new to the practice to more advanced practitioners. The instructors are able to provide scalable options for each individual participant, and will focus on helping each person reach their own personal goals.

Our classes focus on rehab and remedial work, to help participants recover from injuries and build strength and mobility. The instructor will provide demonstrations, coaching and feedback to every participant, making sure that all participants are getting the most out of the exercises.

Maximum 6 participants at a time

We maintain a small class size to ensure that adequate attention is given to each individual, with the instructor helping each participant to ensure that the exercises are being performed properly and safely.

The exercises in each Mat Pilates class are tailored for rehabilitation, strength and mobility. This allows the instructor to provide specific guidance and advice, as well as ensuring that each exercise is suited to the individual's needs.

Bespoke 1-2-1 care

We also offer 1-2-1, or 2-2-1 classes, for those who want to get more tailored support from our clinicians. These classes allows the participant(s) to be sure that their exercises are tailored to their own individual needs and goals. The instructor will help each participant to correct their form and understand the correct musculoskeletal movements for their own body.
