What to expect from the class

In this class you will be guided through low impact, circuit based exercises designed around helping you regain balance, improve strength, stability and reduce the risk of falls.

Move from one station to the next to complete different exercises, using a mix of exercise equipment, and functional exercises that can be completed at a level that works for you.

Our small class sizes ensure you get thorough support, as well as professional advice from our clinicians, who will guide you through the class.

This class ensures you will learn techniques to build strength, technique and confidence and finish each session feeling optimistic and more confident in your daily activities.

Each class is one hour and covers a range of exercises designed to improve balance and confidence, with special focus on falls prevention.

Classes take place: Friday 11:30am - 12:30pm.

Additional Information: 1. You should wear loose, comfortable clothing to exercise sessions and suitable footwear such as trainers. 2. You should bring a water bottle and any medications with you such as inhalers. 3. It is likely that you may become sore in the initial stages which is normal after exercise. 4. You may not feel any improvement for up to 6 weeks. If you have any questions or concerns at any time, please inform your intern or speak to a member of staff.
