Arvid Thorkeldsen is the Vice Principal Undergraduate Studies and Quality at the AECC University College. He is a member of Executive and Senior Management Group and is chair of Academic Development and Quality Committee and Learning and Teaching Subcommittee. He has overall responsibility for the provision of undergraduate education at the University College and the quality assurance of all AECC University College courses.

Biography

Arvid Thorkeldsen graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1981. He was in private practice in Norway and Sweden until he came to the AECC University College in 1989 to start a three year radiology residency programme. He joined the teaching staff in 1992 after successful completion of the residency. He taught manual therapy and radiology as a Senior Lecturer before moving into management. He received his MA in Education from Southampton University in 2002
