Maria Browning is currently holding the positions of Senior Clinical Tutor and Deputy Director of Clinic at the AECC University College, and is a member of the Undergraduate Programme Steering Group, Programme Team Group, Clinical Governance Group and Student-Staff Liaison Group.

Biography

Maria Browning graduated from the AECC University College in 1991 and spent 16 years in private practice, latterly owning 2 chiropractic clinics. She completed a part-time Masters in Chiropractic Paediatrics at the AECC University College in 2005 and a certificate in Medical Education in 2010. The last 10 years have been spent teaching full-time at the AECC University College. Her special interests are paediatrics and the pregnant patient and she helps to manage the busy AECC University College Paediatric Clinic. She has successfully supervised at Masters level and has published in areas related to chiropractic paediatrics and chiropractic management of the pregnant patient. 

Current Activity

Maria Browning is currently holding the positions of Senior Clinical Tutor and Deputy Director of Clinic at the AECC University College, and is a member of the Undergraduate Programme Steering Group, Programme Team Group, Clinical Governance Group and Student-Staff Liaison Group. She is also a Staff Association clinic faculty representative, Year Tutor for the Clinic Interns and University College staff member of the Quality Assurance Committee for the European Council on Chiropractic Education. She is responsible for leading 3 undergraduate teaching units at the AECC University College.

Areas of Interest

Chiropractic paediatrics and the chiropractic management of the pregnant patient.
