Dr. Louise Ticehurst

Lead Practice Educator

Louise Ticehurst is Lead Practice Educator at AECC University College. With interests in working with patients with chronic and spinal pain, Louise has extensive experience working within the NHS as an extended scope practitioner and working in a multi-disciplinary team.

Biography

Louise has worked for the General Chiropractic Council, as a test of competence assessor, and became interested in teaching after meeting with AECC University College tutors whilst doing this. Since 2017, she has been at AECC University College and is passionate for maintaining the high standards that have been set for the profession. 

Areas of Interest

Areas of interest include:

  • Chronic pain patients
  • Patients with spinal pain and neurological deficit in the arms or legs
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team 

Qualifications

  • BSc (Hons) Chiropractic
  • PG Cert Clinical Chiropractic

Membership

  • British Chiropractic Association 
  • General Chiropractic Council
