Lecturer in Chiropractic
Giacomo is a lecturer in Chiropractic and graduated in 2011 from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic. Giacomo will be involved in academic duties including teaching and tutorial guidance, clinic teaching and supervision, research scholarship and related professional activities.
Giacomo is originally from Parma, in north Italy. He started his working career as a graphic designer in Milan until he saw a Chiropractor for back aches, which resulted in him wanting to retrain as a Chiropractor. Giacomo moved to the UK and qualified with a Masters’ degree in Chiropractic from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2011.
Experience and Areas of Interest
After graduation, Giacomo joined a team of international Chiropractors in Italy. He helped to teach the clinic's first visit protocol program at the Royal University Centre Escorial-María Cristina of Madrid, Spain, and at the French University Institute Franco Européen de Chiropratique.
He then started working in the City of Cremona among GP and other medical doctors at the "Cooperativa Medici Cremonesi" and at the Gruppo Pablo in Parma. While working in Italy, he also covered the role of Examiner for the Italian Chiropractic Association (AIC), examining the competence of new Chiropractors who wish to practice in Italy.
In addition, Giacomo was regularly publishing articles for the Italian Chiropractic Association magazine.
