David Allen graduated from Bradford University with a Degree in Medical Sciences in 1981 followed by a Doctor of Chiropractic qualification from AECC University College in 1987 and an MSc in Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound in 2012.

Biography

David Allen graduated from Bradford University with a Degree in Medical Sciences in 1981 followed by a Doctor of Chiropractic qualification from AECC University College in 1987 and an MSc in Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound in 2012.

Current Activity

David is a Senior Sonographer at the Centre for Ultrasound Studies, Bournemouth and a part-time clinic floor tutor at the AECC University College. He is involved with practical and academic MSc teaching and examining on the Diagnostic Ultrasound program and supervision of clinical activity of the final year chiropractic undergraduate students. He is also involved with supervision and management of MSc student projects. The last 30 years has been spent treating patients for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Returning to AECC University College in 2003 he has combined private practice with teaching.

Areas of Interest

Combining Diagnostic Ultrasound with Acupuncture treatment. Investigating novel applications for Diagnostic Ultrasound utilisation in the adult spine and musculoskeletal system in general.
