About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake a varied role as Registry Administrator within the Registry department, responsible for providing effective academic administration to support the academic work of the University College.

As a key part of the Registry team, the role is responsible for the delivery and enhancement of excellent Registry services which form part of the student journey. Within the term of the contract, the focus is on supporting admissions, managing Registry inboxes, supporting committees and supporting wider functions of the Registry team including student and course administration.

About the person

You will have previous higher education administration experience, preferably gained within a Registry and have experience in servicing committees. You will be working in a small but fast‐paced department and must be able to prioritise tasks effectively. You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and customer care skills, a high level of IT competence, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.

 

 

 

Main Responsibilities/Key Tasks:

  • To be responsible to the Academic Registrar for procedures and processes related to the registration and enrolment of all AECC students.
  • To be responsible to the Academic Registrar for the procedures and processes related to the effective progression, conferment and graduation for all AECC students.
  • To be proactive in identifying improvements to service, processes and systems highlighted through the collection of feedback, evaluation and benchmarking.

 

Internal applicants may be considered for a secondment but this would need to be discussed with their line manager prior to application.
