Open evening for students who have experienced care

This event is specifically for young people who have experienced care or are in care. Come along to find out more about our University College, courses and how we can support care leavers in their studies.

Careers in Sport and support whilst studying at University

Inspired by the England's footballers, Wimbledon champions or Team GB athletes off to complete in the Tokyo Olympics? Come along more to find out about the coaching teams behind them and the training they will have done to get to where they are.

We will explore the sport and exercise sciences courses on offer by the School of Rehabilitation, Sport and Psychology and the exciting careers in professional sport these courses can lead to. We will also highlight the support we can offer care leavers and care-experienced students whilst studying with us.

Join us between 4 and 5pm on Wednesday 22nd September 2021. Refreshments will be available on the evening and there will be the opportunity for a tour of the campus to see our facilities, including the sports performance laboratory where the follow up practical workshop in October will take place.

This event is open to students in school years Y10-Y13. Register to take part below and we will send you joining instructions in September. We hope to see you there!
