Getting Involved

Being involved with the SU gets you involved with college life, develops interpersonal skills and looks great on your CV. There are also great perks for your hard work such as free membership to the gym and free entry to all Student Union events!

Student Union Executive Positions are voted for every year during Summer Term. Candidates need to be proposed and have a second proposal by other students. A student can occupy the same position on the SU for a maximum of 2 years.

Officers are required to devote time, effort and energy to their roles, each of which have differing responsibilities. All officers are expected to get involved in most SU activities and be pro-active whilst in position.
