BSc/MSc Chiropractic

One of the foundations of our success has been the excellence of our 5-year 'MChiro' programme, and this remains at the heart of what we do at AECC.

From September 2011, new students will be required to complete successfully the full-time three year BSc Human Sciences degree followed by the full-time two year postgraduate MSc Chiropractic degree to gain the full Masters’ qualification.

BSc(Hons) Exercise Science (Health and Rehabilitation)

We are pleased to offer the BSc(Hons) Exercise Science (Health and Rehabilitation) degree course, which is accredited by the British Association of Sports and Exercise Science (BASES), and has been voted number one across all UK university BSc Exercise Sciences and BSc Sports Sciences degrees for job prospects in a 2009 Guardian poll.

The course is intended to provide you with a firm foundation for safe and competent practice in the area of exercise programme design and implementation. It will also open up a wide range of opportunities for you to pursue a career in health care and/or further studies in health-related disciplines.

BSc(Hons) Community Health and Rehabilitation

This is a flexible 3-year programme oriented toward community health and rehabilitation, ideal for school leavers, career change individuals and healthcare professionals who want to develop or add to their skills and knowledge of community health. The delivery of the course allows students to stay in the workplace, while providing them with the necessary skills and background knowledge to work competently within a healthcare environment.

Access to Higher Education Diploma (Human Health Sciences)

This course is for those seeking access to health related higher education courses (degrees) such as chiropractic, exercise science, community health and rehabilitation, physiotherapy, osteopathy or health sciences. This course is part time and covers the range of skills required to progress to further study once completed.
