BSc(Hons) Exercise Health (Health and Rehabilitation)
This course has been voted number one across all UK university BSc Exercise Sciences and BSc Sports Sciences degrees for job prospects in a 2009 Guardian poll.
The BSc (Hons) Exercise Health (Health and Rehabilitation) course is intended to provide students with a firm foundation for safe, competent practice in the area of exercise programme design and implementation. It will also open up a wide range of opportunities for you to pursue a career in health care and/or further studies in health-related disciplines.

Course Aims
This exciting and practical course has two aims.
The first is to develop exercise science practitioners who can design, instruct and manage safe and competent evidence-based exercise and rehabilitation programmes for the healthy, ill, disabled and sporting sub-populations.
The second is to provide a strong scientific background in exercise science for those wishing to continue to postgraduate level.

Course Prospects
The BSc (Hons) Exercise Science (Health and Rehabilitation) degree was voted the number one course for job prospects over all of the other Exercise Science and Sports Sciences degrees in 2009.
Should you wish to carry on studying at Postgraduate level, this course provides you with all of the theoretical and practical skills to do so.
UK Requirements
Academic
Applicants must have a minimum of 260 UCAS points. 200 of these must be from two A Levels or equivalent.
We also prefer it if 100 of your A Level points come from Biology or Chemistry although we will consider Maths, physics or psychology. This will depend on your academic background and any useful experience you might have.
Applicants must also have four GCSEs at grades A* to C including Maths and English.
We also accept applicants who have successfully completed the following qualifications in a relevant subject:

- European Baccalaureate
- International Baccalaureate
- Scottish Qualifications - Scottish Advanced Highers & Scottish Highers included
Applicants will be CRB checked upon accepting a place on the course.
International Requirements
The NARIC website will tell you if your qualifications are equivalent to those gained in the UK.
In short, we accept international students who have completed courses that are equivalent to UK A Levels.
We also accept the International or European Baccalaureate and the Junior College Diploma.
