Course Content

The flexible delivery of the programme is designed specifically to allow students to remain in the workplace whilst studying, giving you the opportunity to get a degree whilst still in practice.

The course offers both generic as well as specialist module options so that the programme can be tailored to individual needs.

Also, for those of you not already in a clinical rehabilitation workplace, the AECC is in a unique position to be able to offer students clinical placements to enhance their learning.

All 20 credit modules are semester-based and run over eight weeks. Modules are delivered consecutively over the first week of each semester. They begin with three days face-to-face contact of 21 hours on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with subsequent online learning and teaching via the Community Health Virtual Learning Environment for the subsequent weeks of the module.

The units that involve clinical skills learning and teaching may require you to attend further face-to-face sessions on the Sunday. This would total your contact time to 28 hours.
