Why study at the AECC?
Spending two years at MSc level is unique to the AECC, giving students the opportunity for deeper clinical training against the traditional one-year course offered at other institutions. Students also benefit from working on real patients at our state of the art treatment clinic, situated on campus.
Prospects
The growth and transition of an academic student into an effective clinician is the priority throughout the course but particularly in the final years. It is important to us and to the students that they graduate from the AECC with the skills and knowledge that will support a successful career.

Studying in Bournemouth
Bournemouth is a stunningly beautiful seaside town in Dorset and you are never more than half an hour away from the world renowned beach which stretches for an incredible seven miles along the Jurassic Coast.
You’ll also enjoy the outstanding gardens in the centre of Bournemouth that lead down to the beach as well as the plethora of pubs, clubs, restaurants and shops on offer.
Bournemouth also has a very vibrant live music scene and many “open mic” nights in the area that are not to be missed.
How to apply
Please submit your application through the UCAS website (Universities and College Admissions Service) using institution code A65, course code B321 and campus code - .
We advise applicants to apply as soon as possible to increase their chances of a place on this popular course. Applicants should submit their forms before 15th January in the year they wish to study.
For example, if you would like to study in September 2013, you would ideally have submitted your UCAS form before 15th January in that year.
There may still be places available after 15th January, and we advise applicants to seek advice from UCAS and ourselves about how to apply after this date.
Students can apply to study in 2013 from 1st September 2012 and we advise you do this as soon as possible.
Our courses are very oversubscribed and we have to turn away many students who would have been perfectly suitable had they applied for a place earlier.
