Campus Facilities

The campus comprises of four buildings set in attractive grounds.AECC Main College

  • The main college building dates from 1888 and the character of this former convent has been carefully preserved - even the ghost remains! The main building houses college administration, the Student Union bar and refectory, the Spine Centre (the college retail outlet for students, chiropractors and clinic patients), the research department (both college research and the independent Institute for Musculoskeletal Research and Clinical Implementation - IMRCI), the Vilhelm Krause Library, faculty, classrooms and chiropractic technique rooms, laboratories, the prosection facility and lecture theatres.

  • We are proud of our new chiropractic clinic, which opened for patients in January 2009. This state-of-the-art facility provides both students and patients with access to unparralleled diagnostic and treatment facilities. More information can be found in the AECC Clinic section

  • The assembly hall houses a fully equipped gym including a climbing wall and is used for a whole range of sporting activities from basketball to martial arts. Various social functions take place there, particularly the college Christmas Revue where students from every year participate in sketches, generally taking an irreverent view of college staff and events during the year. See the Student Union web pages for further information.
