Friends of the Clinic
The Friends of the Clinic are made up of a group of volunteers, mainly patients, who meet on a regular, informal basis, to discuss ways of improving the services and facilities provided by the clinic.
The group provides invaluable feedback to the clinic, which is always looking to improve the services it provides. The Friends also act as an impartial and independent contact for our patients to discuss any issues they may have.
The main aims of the Friends of the Clinic are:
-
To consider ways of helping the AECC Clinic to expand its services offered to the community
-
To act as a contact with the community and its representative bodies
-
To consider and comment on clinic issues from a patient perspective
-
To act as a possible source of ideas for new clinic service development
-
To meet regularly with representatives of the clinic and college
-
To regularly contribute towards the clinic newsletter
The Friends also support the clinic by raising money to help purchase items that it needs. The next fundraising events are:
