Tailor your visit
Use our Open Day Guide to shape your visit. No matter if you have been on campus before, or this is your first time visiting us, there will be plenty of talks, demonstrations and experiences to be had. Making a note of key talks or facilities you wish to attend in advance will help you get the most out of your visit.
Booking a visit
You may have already booked your place on an open day, but if not, you can do this by using the link below. Select your preferred date and supply the information using the booking form. If you wish to bring a parent, guardian or friend with you, you can add a guest to your booking.
What can I expect?
Coming onto campus is an exciting opportunity. There are so many fantastic facilities to show you and experiences for you to have. It’s the best way of working out if AECC University College is the right place for your academic and personal success.
Campus will be open from 10.00am and will close at 2.30pm. You can arrive at any point throughout the day, but we recommend 1.00pm as the latest arrival time, allowing you enough time to explore campus and learn about life here at the University College.
There will be plenty of staff, tutors and current students to guide you and help you navigate your way around campus. We’ll provide you with a map, and directions to talks, demonstrations and key facilities will be clearly signposted.
Remember, this is your day, so make the most of it. Ask plenty of questions, learn about your course area and interests, and get the information on the things that matter most to you.
We provide specific talks around entry requirements, making your application and writing your personal statement. You can also hear from our Student Services, Student Finance and Students’ Union team. Find out how these caring and supportive areas of the institution will help you to fulfil your potential when you study with us.
Take a trip to see our accommodation. You might like to make time to explore our beautiful local area and get a feel for the place where you will be living and studying, soaking up the atmosphere.
Location
We are lucky enough to live beside seven miles of golden sands, and Bournemouth’s unique micro-climate means we get plenty of sunshine hours too.
From our campus on Parkwood Road, the beach is only 10 minutes-walk away. Living in Bournemouth means not only do you have the benefit of the coastline, but there are great routes into London (approximately two hours by train) and the ability to explore wider Dorset and the historic Jurassic Coast.

On Wednesday 20th March, we held our first AECC University College Student Engagement Conference. The theme for the day was ‘Sharing Best Practice in Student Engagement’ and all students and staff were welcome to be a part of it.
