AECC University College School of Medical Ultrasound GP course provides practising medical staff with the ultrasound knowledge to supplement their clinical skills. A comprehensive training with hands on experience, facilitated by hospital sonographers. This introductory course provides a working knowledge of ultrasound physics, equipment controls, and ultrasound anatomy.

An introduction to the safe use of diagnostic ultrasound imaging, focus on pelvic ultrasound and anatomy, including possible complications of early or ectopic pregnancies, with our two-day seminar aimed at current medical professionals.
This well established course has been developed by a team of experts in the musculoskeletal field. Our MSK Ultrasound Course provides full knowledge and understanding of the safe use of ultrasound for the diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders. Highly experienced tutors will facilitate hands on sessions following in-depth lectures to set a solid foundation for safe practice.

Learn how to use, interpret, and apply your ultrasound findings in your field with our Podiatry Ultrasound course. Though we’ll direct our attention to the ankle and foot, we’ll still be covering safety, quality assurance, anatomy, and physics.

01st & 02nd May 2019 Are you a radiographer, consultant urologist or trainee medic looking to gain skills and experience in diagnostic ultrasound? Enrol on this course to learn the safe use of ultrasound through 2 days of intense hands on practical training in our clinical skills suite using state of the art Samsung medical ultrasound systems (provided by MIS Healthcare) proceeded by pro section anatomy and formal lectures.

MSc Clinical Placements
The School of Ultrasound offers MSC Clinical Placements to enrolled MSc Medical Ultrasound Students. Clinical Placements are offered only in Upper Limb, Lower Limb, Hip/Groin and Soft Tissue. Clinical Placement dates must be pre-booked with Sandra Battiston.
The cost for each clinical placement date is £240.00 (current 2018-19 fee).
