Freshers Week

A manic 10 days of introductory fun, where our new students get to know each other by going on pub-crawls, photo runs and other activities. We will get you to wear some traditional AECC Fresher clothing in order to break the ice amongst fellow students. One not to miss!!

Guardian Night

Freshers are invited round to existing student's houses for an informal dinner party, then all meet up in the student union bar, from then on, who knows? It's a chance for students to handle their drink, as well as get to know what really goes on and what to expect for the next 4/5 years...

Graduation Ceremony and Ball

This year the ceremony was held at the Pavillion and the Ball in the BIC. It was a great night - as always with a superb band, food and DJ.

Christmas Revue

Get ready for one of the craziest nights of the year. Each student year puts on several acts on stage, creating an evening long show for the rest of the students to watch. Awards are given for the best acts and afterwards the hall turns into a disco. The bar relocates itself for the event, giving you an endless flow of yeast mixtures and toxic spirits.

Pimps and Hookers

Although this is not a Students’ Union run event, it is considered an annual tradition, organised by the WCCS to raise money to send student delegates to the annual conference which this year is being held in Auckland, New Zealand. The party simply involves dressing up and having a good time!

Charity Ball

For the past four years individual students have organised a charity ball in aid of The Bristol down syndrome trust. There is always a brilliant turn out and much money is raised for this worthy cause. This year we had fantastic raffle and auction prizes including Top Gear tickets and a signed David Beckham shirt.
