A diverse community
AECC students come from all over the world with students from Malaysia, Norway, Canada, India, South Korea, Iceland, South Africa and Sweden, to name but a few. With 50% of our students coming from outside of the UK, the AECC campus is a place rich in diversity and our social calendar celebrates important dates and festivals from around the world.

Support at the AECC
When students arrive, they will be paired up with a student from the upper years who will act as a ‘buddy’, answering questions students might have about the AECC and the course.
Students are also assigned personal tutors who can give advice on academic matters and offer pastoral support.
The Students’ Union has a dedicated International Officer whose role is to help international students integrate into the student community at the AECC as well as offering advice and support.
When you come to study at the AECC not only will you receive all the benefits of studying here but you will also get to enjoy the wonderful location which is Bournemouth on the South Coast of England.
This cosmopolitan town will offer you the experience of living right by the seaside while being able to easily access the countryside, a huge array of shops and restaurants and a vibrant nightlife. With fantastic beaches, great shopping and fast transport links to London, the AECC is ideally situated for international students to enjoy the UK.
