Your graduation ceremony will be held at the Pavilion Theatre, Bournemouth on Friday 24th November 2017. This will be a celebration of your achievements here at the AECC. If you are graduating from the AECC for the first time you must ensure that you:
• Have made sure that your name and contact details are correct, please liaise with Registry via email firstname.lastname@example.org
• Have paid any outstanding debts to the AECC. Deadline to settle your accounts is the 7 July 2017
• Have returned any library books to Learning Services
• Have paid any outstanding debts with The Spine Centre Ltd
• Return any other property from the AECC Clinics
Failure to complete the above will mean that your certificate will be withheld, until these have been cleared or the property is returned.
If you are unable to attend the Graduation Ceremony, Registry will post your degree certificate along with a copy of the programme during the week after the ceremony takes place. If you have changed your home address details please email email@example.com

AECC Graduation Tickets
Graduands can bring an unlimited number of guests to the ceremony free of charge. Each graduand will receive a complimentary ticket to the graduation. You may apply for up to two guest tickets for attendance at the afternoon reception which will cost £16.00 each. Feedback received from students was to have the afternoon tea option as this seemed better value for money. To purchase tickets for your guests you will need to go to www.williamnortham.com . Remember you don’t need to buy a ticket for yourself.
Tickets will not be sent to you. They will be ready for collection when you register on graduation day. If you do require extra guest tickets for attendance at the afternoon reception, please let the registry team know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and your name will be added to a waiting list. If any extra tickets are available these will be allocated (on a proportional basis) after 3 November. You will be notified of your ticket allocation on Monday 6 November and these will need to be purchased by Friday 10 November at the very latest. To purchase extra tickets you would need to contact: William Northam contact details to follow.
If you need to cancel your graduation tickets
We will give a full refund for any afternoon reception ticket bookings cancelled before 3 November, please let us know by emailing email@example.com. With regards to the gown hire and photography, there is a £1.50 cancellation fee outside the cooling off period which is 14 days. If you wish to cancel your gown hire, you must notify William Northam at least 7 days before the ceremony date.
Graduation Gown Hire
The Graduation Ceremony is a formal occasion and all that attend are expected to be appropriately dressed. Details of how to order your academic gown, hood and hat can be found at: www.williamnortham.com William Northams who are our official gowners. On the day you will need to bring with you, your gown hire reference number and either the printed receipt which will be emailed to you at the time of ordering or via the text message which will be text to you a few days before your ceremony.
Details of or how to order your photographs can be found at: www.williamnortham.com . If you are ordering photographs you will need to print out your photography order details which will be emailed to you and bring them with you on the day.

Academic garments for Graduates will be available in the Theatre Bar (Directions will be clearly signposted on the day). The official photographer will be located in the Lucullus Room, so that Graduates may have individual and family group photographs taken, if required.

Graduate procession awaits signal to enter the Theatre and proceed to their reserved seats in front of the stage. At the same time, the platform party will proceed to the stage.

On arrival at the Pavilion Theatre, please could you and your guests confirm your arrival at the Registration Desk in the foyer. This is when you will be given your guest tickets which you have purchased for the afternoon reception.
Henrik Lauridsen Henrik Hein Lauridsen graduated from AECC in 1991 and practiced as a chiropractor in private practice for 8 years. In 1999 he completed a M.Sc. in clinical chiropractic from AECC and Portsmouth University, and from 2001 to 2004 he worked in a multidisciplinary spinal outpatient centre alongside teaching at University of Southern Denmark. In 2007 he received a Ph.D. in clinimetrics from University of Southern Denmark, and he is currently employed as associate professor in the Research Unit for Clinical Biomechanics at University of Southern Denmark, where he carries out research in clinimetrics and children’s musculoskeletal health, teaches advanced questionnaire research technique in addition to supervising Ph.D.-students. In addition to his research position, he has been Head of Studies for the education in Clinical Biomechanics at University of Southern Denmark since 2006.
Your guests should be seated in the theatre at least 15 minutes before the beginning of the ceremony, as anyone arriving late may be asked to remain at the back of the theatre until the processions have entered. Seating is on a first-come-first-served basis. Unfortunately seats cannot be reserved. If you or your guests are blue badge holders please inform Julie-Ann Doyle in advance of the ceremony so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
A photography service will be provided by William Northam Photography. They will be available in the Lucullus Room at the Pavilion Theatre from 10.00 am. You are strongly advised to pre-book this service on-line at www.williamnortham.com to save time or disappointment on the day.
There is a coffee shop in the foyer, upstairs bar area and a Bistro on the Terrace of the Pavilion Theatre. There are also a number of restaurants along Westover Road. Following the Ceremony, you and your allocated guests are invited to join us in the Ballroom at the Pavilion for an afternoon reception. The bars will be open for the purchase of alcohol.
Car parking is available at the Pavilion Theatre car park or at several nearby car parks - please be aware
that normal charges apply.

The Pavilion Theatre has access for disabled guests. Inside the theatre there is ample provision for wheelchairs and there is a lift situated at the rear of the building, close to the Ballroom, to access.
The AECC Graduation Ball will take place on Saturday 25th November 2017 at The Bournemouth International Centre in the Purbeck Room and your Graduation Committee will be working hard to ensure that your celebrations end with an evening to remember.
We recommend that you order your tickets for the Ball as soon as possible, as numbers will be limited.
