AECC University College Launches 'Vocations by the Sea' Recruitment Campaign
AECC University College has today unveiled its new recruitment campaign for 2019. This highly visual campaign has been developed specially to drive 2019 undergraduate recruitment and enhance the University College’s reputation by increasing awareness.
The ‘Vocations by the Sea’ campaign is a planned initiative mapped against vital periods in the higher education search and application cycle. From Monday 4 March, the integrated campaign will run across train stations, buses, social media, video, email and the institutions website, all of which will be supplemented by community events and PR activity.
The campaign has launched ahead of a busy recruitment calendar, which includes UCAS fairs across the UK and overseas events, alongside the University College’s own Open Days and Campus Days.
The visuals hone in on the student lifestyle experience while studying in Bournemouth, particularly in showcasing the University College’s unique location. The messaging combines their unique health science offer, while promoting specialised courses which prepare graduates to work in rewarding professions.
Prospective students are able to engage with the campaign through the social media hashtag #VocationsByTheSea and also get a feel for what life is like as an AECC University College student by using the hashtag #HeyAECC, which comprises of student generated content, location images and lifestyle shots.
Lisa King, Head of Marketing and Communications, said: “This campaign is an exciting step in a new direction for the way we communicate the University College’s offering and brand. The striking visual aligns with our fresh brand imagery, and we are confident it will resonate with our 2019 undergraduate audience. The campaign will also play an important part of ensuring AECC University College is on the map for health sciences, at a local and national level. We know colleagues and our students are passionate about working and studying here, and we appreciate you sharing and championing the campaign.”
