A new cohort of chiropractors and healthcare professionals have graduated from the world-renowned AECC in Bournemouth. Over 100 students attended their graduation ceremony at the Pavilion on Friday. As well as those graduating from the masters in chiropractic programme there were also a range of postgraduates picking up awards from ultrasound to orthopaedics and paediatric musculoskeletal health.
Valedictorian Judith Torstvedt addressed the hall: "Our college is unique in the way that it attracts people from all over the world. This is one of the reasons it feels so much like a family and will create bonds that are rarely found in bigger universities than ours. It's incredibly exciting to finally be there at the finish line and to know we have all that we need to make that step forward into the future, and crossing the next starting line."
Graduation speaker Jean Moss added: "This year's graduates have shown persistence, integrity and a capacity for hard work which will provide a sound foundation on which they will build their future. The majority will be entering the work force in their area of specialty and we are here today to celebrate their success as they move on to the next stage of their lives. As I look out on these bright young faces I think the future of healthcare is in safe hands. Sitting on the platform is always an honour, watching each of you enter the stage a student and exit as a graduate."
