AECC is awarded the Patient Partnership Quality Mark

We are proud to announce that the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic’s Bournemouth Clinic has been awarded the Patient Partnership Quality Mark (PPQM).

The PPQM was launched in 2006 by the College of Chiropractors Lay Partnership Group to recognise excellence in meeting patient’s expectations.

In order to receive the award practices are required to demonstrate that they meet patient expectations in a wide range of areas including:

  • Accessibility
  • Booking systems and out-of-hours cover
  • Cleanliness and safety
  • Privacy
  • Communication
  • Patient education
  • Record keeping
  • Other forms of care offered
  • Costs

The award will be presented on 1 February 2012 at the College of Chiropractic Annual Awards Dinner in London.

The AECC Clinic will receive a PPQM plaque, to signal AECC’s commitment in meeting or exceeding patient expectations in all areas. In addition, permission will be granted to use the ‘kite mark’ logo on practice correspondence and literature.

The College of Chiropractors intention is that; “Over time, this initiative will serve to identify new examples of good practice as well as promoting and identifying standards for best practise in terms of meeting patient expectations.”

Edward Rothman said; “This award is a demonstration of the dedication of our entire clinical team to providing quality musculoskeletal care with the needs and concerns of each individual patient foremost in our minds.”
