Reputation & Employability

Mention AECC to virtually any chiropractor in the world and you will see immediately the respect which the name engenders. Looking at our history, it is not difficult to see why we have this reputation.

Historically, chiropractic teachers in the US tended to return to the college where they originally trained to take up teaching positions. When AECC was founded in 1965, it was by sheer necessity that the faculty would be drawn from those who trained in a wide range of chiropractic colleges. Thus students were and still are exposed to the fullest spectrum of chiropractic doctrines and although many of our current faculty graduated from AECC, we still employ staff from the four corners of the globe.

This is why many believe that AECC graduates are the most well rounded and informed chiropractors in the world.

During the 1970s, AECC led the way in steering chiropractic in Europe down a more scientific based path in order to counter accusations of 'quackery'. This almost certainly laid the foundations for the eventual statutory recognition by the 1994 Chiropractors Act and enhanced recognition and acceptance from medical and other health care professionals.
