Study Chiropractic in the UK
The Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) is the oldest and largest chiropractic college in Europe and has been offering world-class evidence based chiropractic education since 1965. The AECC offers a Masters in Chiropractic (MChiro) which is a four year course which is internationally recognised allowing graduates to work both in Europe and North America. On entering the final year of study at the AECC, students become Clinic Interns and work full-time treating real pateints in our state-of-the-art teaching clinic. The clinic provides 50,000 patient treatments per year and boasts digital x-ray and fluoroscopy facilities, a diagnostic ultrasound suite, functional rehabilitation centre and sophisticated booking system. The current teaching clinic was built to upgrade facilities was completed in January 2009.
Location
The AECC is situated in Bournemouth, a seaside town on the south coast of England, which enjoys a mild climate and has seven miles of sandy beaches. Bournemouth is a young and vibrant University town with lots of music venues, nightclubs, restaurants and shops. Bournemouth has good road and rail links and is less than two hours from London and Heathrow International Airport. It also has a local airport providing affordable links to mainland Europe.
Fees
Tutition fees for students from outside the European Union are currently £10,400 per annum. The cost includes tuition fees and the cost of all activities students are required to undertake as part of the programme of study. Students should make an appropriate allowance to cover costs such as diagnostic instruments, clinical garments and the discretionary purchase of textbooks and course manuals.
