These seminars aim to develop your knowledge and understanding of the diagnosis and management of orthopaedic conditions. Its purpose is to develop an advanced level of understanding in the following areas:
- Different approaches to clinical problem solving.
- The relevant use and diagnostic accuracy of orthopaedic physical examination procedures and special investigations (including OSMIA).
- Management options for orthopaedic conditions.
- Particular issues in orthopaedic practice specific to geriatric and paediatric populations.
Theory is presented thorough lectures and case-based workshops to facilitate self-directed learning. By the end of the course you should have a fuller understanding of an evidence-based approach to the diagnosis and management of orthopaedic conditions and be able to critically evaluate future developments in the field through your own ongoing continuing professional development.
